About Us
The chapter at NJIT has been around for over three years with the goal of helping students better understand what it means to be to be involved in the world of computer science, information technology, and information systems. With the full support of the College of Computing Sciences, we’ve been able to speak with people in the various fields of computing to get a better idea of what it means to do the work we’ve learned at NJIT in the business world. We also branch out into other activities into whatever our members are interested and motivated to do. Currently we have three special interest groups in Linux, Game Design, and Graphical Design.
We also tutor students in a variety of CCS classes. The ACM is an excellent forum for ideas related to the world of computing, with a vast range of conferences and competitions to help get your ideas out there.
If you are interested in learning more about us, stop by our meetings in Kupfrian 204 on Mondays at noon.
